Very nice ground-dug steel SS belt buckle from Estonia. It was found near Riigiküla, directly north of Narva, in the sector of the 20. Waffen-Grenadier-Division der SS (estn. Nr. 1).

Fierce battles in this sector took place in February 1944. This belt buckle must have seen a lot.

It has been cleaned and is solid. Would make a nice display piece.
