Very nice zinc id tag (erkennungsmarke) from a member of the 7./SS-Ausbildungs-Bataillon z.b.V., which was a training unit and one of the main suppliers of the 14. Galizische SS-Freiwilligen-Division. It was found near Brody, where the Ukrainian division suffered heavy losses in July 1944. The tag is in very good condition.
