German Erkennungsmarke of the Art.Rgt./SS-Kav.Brig.

Very nice and rare zinc id tag (erkennungsmarke) of the artillery regiment of the SS-Kavallerie-Brigade, which was formed in February 1941 and reformed in the SS-Kavallerie-Division in the Summer of 1942. This tag was found in 2021 near Poltava, on positions of the SS-Kavallerie-Division from September 1943.

The tag is in very good condition, and extremely rare to encounter. The few known tags we have seen, are all identical in stamping. A very historical piece, which can be researched.
