A very nice and rare zinc Erkennungsmarke from a member of the 2./Russisches Grenadier-Regiment 714, which was part of the 416. Infanterie-Division. This regiment, which consisted of three battalions of Russian volunteers, was formed in April 1944 in Denmark. In 1945, the regiment was reformed into Grenadier-Regiment 1604 (russ.), as part of the newly formed Russische Brigade 599.

The tag itself is in extremely nice and solid condition, with the markings clearly readable. It's a textbook tag of this unit.
