Very nice and desirable zinc Erkennungsmarke from a recruit in the 4./SS-Inf.Ers.Btl. "Deutschland", which was a training unit stationed in München and later on in Prague. It provided many recruits to the "Das Reich" division.

It was found a few years ago on the terrain of a former POW camp near Sandl in Austria. A textbook original of a much-copied tag.

The tag is in very nice condition with the text clearly readable. A rare piece.
