Very nice textbook example of the first type of the so famous SS cap skull. These were worn on the early black SS kepi and black visor caps of the Allgemeine SS. The second type SS skull was introduced in 1934, so this is a classic piece of the earliest period in the history of the SS. Some members continued to wear these early skulls, since it meant early membership of the SS.

The skull itself is unmarked, complete with its prongs, and in stellar condition, with most of its silver finish retaining.
