German wooden case cover from Moscow Very interesting wooden case cover with the name of Leutnant Mink and his Feldpostnummer 28587, which corresponds with the I. Abteilung of Artillerie-Regiment 58, which was part of the 197. Infanterie-Division in 1941 and 1942.
It was found in the region of Tverskaya, not far from Moscow. The wood has been preserved well and the markings are very clear.
