Very nice and desirable zinc Erkennungsmarke from a recruit in the 3./SS-Infanterie-Ersatz-Bataillon "Germania", which was a training unit stationed in Hamburg and later on in Arnhem in Holland. It provided many recruits to the "Wiking" division, but also to other units. It was found a few years ago on the terrain of a former POW camp near Sandl in Austria. There are many very good fakes of these tags, but this tag is the real deal.

A textbook original as how we like to see them. The tag is in very nice condition with the text clearly readable.
