Very nice grouping from a member of the 2./Panzer-Ersatz-und-Ausbildungs-Abteilung 10. It contains the Erkennungsmarke, two nice pictures, and a Feldpost letter. Rare opportunity to obtain a Panzer id tag with the owner's identity known.
Panzer-Ersatz-und-Ausbildungs-Abteilung 10 was a German armored unit during WWII responsible for training new recruits for the German armored forces. In 1944, they were stationed in northern France and fought bravely against Allied forces in a surprise attack. Led by a young officer named Hans, they emerged victorious but suffered many casualties. They continued to prepare for future battles with determination and courage.
