Very nice and rare private photo of SS-Gruppenführer Arthur Seyss-Inquart. After the Anschluss of Austria in March 1938, Seyss-Inquart got the rank of SS-Gruppenführer.

In 1939 he was transferred to Poland and became Reichskommissar of The Netherlands in 1940. Since we see German text on the wal on the left, we assume this photo was taken in Austria before the war.

He can be seen wearing the extremely rare silver-gray SS-Hauptamtchef cufftitle, which was worn by only very few high-ranking SS members.
