Very nice and rare zinc Erkennungsmarke from a recruit in SS-Kavallerie-Ausbildungs-und-Ersatz-Abteilung, which was stationed in Beneschau in Czech Republic.

This training and replacement unit provided recruits to all SS cavalry units, like the 8. SS-Kavallerie-Division "Florian Geyer", the 22. SS-Freiwilligen-Kavallerie-Division, and the 37. SS-Freiwilligen-Kavallerie-Division.

The tag was found near Obec Lety in Czech Republic and must have been thrown away in May 1945.

The tag has been broken, but it in very nice condition with the text clearly readable.

A textbook tag of this unit and not common to find.
