A very nice and extremely rare chain-stitched "W" shoulder board slide, worn by a member of SS-Regiment "Westland".

For some reason they were not that common, similar to the "N" slides for "Nordland" shoulder boards. These "W" cyphers could be found stitched directly on the shoulder board, or they were worn on slides. This slide was cut, so that it could be attached directly to the shoulder board, similar to LAH slides which were cut that way.

It is in very good condition and only slightly worn.
