Very nice zinc Erkennungsmarke from a member of the 1./SS-Freiwilligen-Pionier-Bataillon 14, which was part of the 14th Ukrainian SS division. The tag was found in Ukraine, and though we do not know the exact location, it was probably part of a bigger find near Brody some years ago.

The 14th Ukrainian SS division was destroyed there in July 1944 and many tags were found in this area.

The tag has been broken in three pieces, but the condition is solid and the text clearly readable. Not a common unit to find tags of.
