Outstanding and beyond-rare Niederlande officer's cufftitle which belonged to a member of the Stab/SS-Freiwilligen-Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment 48 "General Seyffardt".

It was originally an "Frw.Legion Niederlande" cufftitle, but it was cut by the veteran because the Dutch Legion was disbanded in 1943 and its cufftitles abolished. There exists a picture of a very similar cut Niederlande flatwire cufftitle worn by an officer of the Dutch SS Brigade.

In decades of collecting, this is the only example of this cufftitle we have ever seen offered for sale. The only other known example is pictured in the book "German Military Cuffbands" by Williamson and was in the collection of the late Dave Delich. The name of the veteran will be provided to the buyer, as well as scans of pictures coming from the same estate. What makes it even more unique, is that the unit the veteran belonged to was completely destroyed in July 1944.

It might be one of the rarest cufftitles in the world, and considering its history probably unique.

A museum-quality piece.
