Very nice zinc id tag (erkennungsmarke) from a member of the 1./SS-Freiwilligen-Grenadier-Regiment 30, which was one of the three infantry regiments of the 14. Galizische SS-Freiwilligen-Division. The tag was found near Brody, where the Ukrainian division suffered heavy losses in July 1944. The tag is in very good condition.
