Very nice zinc id tag (erkennungsmarke) from a member of the 5./SS-Freiwilligen-Grenadier-Regiment 29, which was one of the three infantry regiments of the 14. Galizische SS-Freiwilligen-Division. It was found near Bilyi Kamin, a village near Brody, where the Ukrainian division suffered heavy losses in July 1944. The tag is in very good condition.
