Very nice half aluminum Erkennungsmarke from a member of the 3./SS-Polizei-Infanterie-Regiment 3, part of the SS-Polizei-Division.

The tag was found in Vught in Holland, as part of a hoard find of disregarded tags. Most of the tags were broken or cut, as is this one. Several replacement units of the SS-Polizei-Division were stationed in and around Den Bosch.

In Vught the Genesenden-Kompanie der SS-Polizei-Division was located, and it probably belonged to a member of this unit. A rare tag from a very historical location, since it was found close to KL Herzogenbusch.
