Very nice zinc Erkennungsmarke from a member of the 5. SS-Panzer-Division "Wiking". It has the text 3./SS-T.-Na.E.Abt., which stands for 3./SS-Totenkopf-Nachrichten-Ersatz-Abteilung. The owner of the tag was trained as a Funker (signal man) for the SS-Division "Totenkopf", but was at some point transferred to the "Wiking" division since this tag was found in the Cherkassy pocket.

The tag itself is broken into three pieces, but the text is still clearly readable.

A very interesting relic from a very historical place.
