Very nice and rare early zinc Erkennungsmarke from a member of the 10./Lettisches SS-Freiwilligen-Regiment 5, which was formed in April 1943 and later became Waffen-Grenadier-Regiment der SS (lett. Nr. 5), which was part of the 19th Latvian SS division.

We do not know where precisely it was found, but it is a textbook example for this unit.

The condition is extremely good.
