Very nice and rare steel battalion pennant, which belonged to the I./Artillerie-Regiment 8 of the 8. Jäger-Division. Both the divisional symbol as the "I" from I. Abteilung is still visible, as well as the red colors denoting artillery branches.
It was found near Staraya Russa, where the 8. Jäger-Division was fighting in 1943 and 1944.
A very unique item to find. The usage sample can be seen in a photo.
