Estonia Super nice Wehrmacht cutlery set, consisting of six forks and six knives, stamped with W.S.M. 42, an eagle, and the word Rostfrei, meaning stainless steel.

This set was found in the Estonian city of Keila, southwest of Tallinn. The story is that this set was found in a Wehrmacht train wagon which was left behind during the during retreat in September 1944.

Local people took everything they could. The condition is really nice with the right patina.

A rare set to come across.
