Really terrific aluminum Erkennungsmarke from a member of the 3./Pionier-Bataillon 251, which was part of the 251. Infanterie-Division. The tag was found near Rzhev, where this unit was fighting from the end of 1941 until Spring 1943.
The tag is in absolutely stunning condition.
