Very nice zinc Erkennungsmarke from a member of the 3./Infanterie-Regiment 577, which was part of the 305. Infanterie-Division.

This unit was fighting for the Barrikady gun factory in Stalingrad. The division was destroyed during the battle of Stalingrad, and it was there this tag was found.

A witness of one of the toughest battles during the street fighting in the city.

The condition of the tag is very nice. Great historical piece.
