Very nice zinc id tag (erkennungsmarke) from a member of the Ost-Bau-Kompanie 176, also known as Ukrainische Bau-Kompanie 176, which was part of the 6. Armee.

It was found near Stalingrad, where the unit was destroyed. It was a very small unit and consisted primarily of Ukrainian volunteers, so it is an extremely rare tag to encounter, especially from such a historical place.

The tag is in very good condition.
