It was made in <strong>1937 by Carl Busse in Mainz<\/strong> and is stamped both with &#171;<strong>Reichsheer<\/strong>&#187; and the <strong>Waffenamt<\/strong>, denoting use in the <strong>Wehrmacht<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>There are pictures of Scharfsch\u00fctzen (snipers) using such gloves, but their original purpose was meant to be used for barbed wire.
