G\u00fcnther Jahn<\/strong>, who worked in the <strong>Rasse-und-Siedlungs-Hauptamt-SS (RuSHA),<\/strong> and was transferred to the &#171;<strong>Handschar<\/strong>&#187; division in <strong>1944<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>He was placed as an administrative officer in the <strong>Stab I.\/Waffen-Gebirgs-Regiment der SS 28<\/strong>, which consisted mainly of <strong>Albanians<\/strong> and was then transferred to the newly formed &#171;<strong>Skanderbeg<\/strong>&#187; division a few months later. Here he became the administrative officer of the <strong>Stab III.\/Waffen-Gebirgs-Regiment der SS 51<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The grouping consists of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>fifteen photos<\/strong><\/span>, two wedding cards, an Arbeitsbuch, two member cards that belonged to his wife, and a beautiful and <strong>extremely rare officer&#8217;s bullion RuSHA sleeve diamond (\u00c4rmelraute)<\/strong>, which he seems to be wearing in several photos in this grouping.<\/p>\n<p>Two pictures seem to have been taken in the concentration camp <strong>Dachau<\/strong>. One picture shows a gate with sentry houses, and another one seems to be a very early picture of <strong>Totenkopf<\/strong> members with brown uniforms.<\/p>\n<p>Also, some very rare cufftitles can be seen on these pictures, like the early <strong>RFSS cufftitle<\/strong> and the black-and-white striped one for <strong>Abteilungsleiter<\/strong> in the<strong> Staff of the Reichsf\u00fchrer-SS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The diamond is in wonderful condition, with very sharp bullion, and the back of the diamond has an early cloth RZM tag, with a number that is known to be found on such diamonds.<\/p>\n<p>It is the first time we can offer such a rare sleeve diamond, visible on photos and attributed to an SS officer who served in the &#171;<strong>Handschar<\/strong>&#187; and &#171;<strong>Skanderbeg<\/strong>&#187; divisions.<\/p>\n<p>Absolutely amazing grouping.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Spectacular grouping of SS-Ostuf.
