SS-Freiwilligen-Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment &#171;General Seyffardt&#187;<\/strong><\/span> was destroyed on <strong>26 July 1944<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The regiment, which consisted of about<strong> 900 men<\/strong>, got trapped alongside the railway. It was subsequently destroyed in the forests there. A lot of things have been found there over the years, like this helmet. The helmet itself is a nice-looking <strong>Quist<\/strong> model with the remains of the classic <strong>Quist runes decal<\/strong> preserved. The helmet is in good solid condition with a lot of its paint preserved, as well as the remnants of the liner.<\/p>\n<p>A truly impressive piece from a very historical battlefield.
