Great-looking and rare zinc Erkennungsmarke from a member of the SS-Grenadier-Ersatz-Bataillon "Ost", which was formed on 1 June 1943 and stationed in Breslau.

It was the replacement unit for several field units, including the 6. SS-Sturmbrigade "Langemarck". The tag is in very good, solid condition, with the text clearly readable.

It has the classic font for these tags, including the big SS runes. Please note the very low number!

It was found in Russia, although we do not know the exact location.

Great display piece.
