Very nice and rare half zinc Erkennungmarke, which was meant to be issued to an Estonian recruit in the Ersatz-Bataillon/Estnische SS-Legion.

The tags had the company number and the owner's tag number added when issued, but this is an unissued example. It turned up in Germany, but we don't know where it was found originally.

The tag is a perfect textbook example with the classic font for this unit.

Not a common tag to find in any condition.
