Wonderful and super sharp looking half zinc Erkennungsmarke from a member of the 4th replacement company of SS-Standarte "Deutschland", one of the three regiments of the original SS-Verfügungstruppen.

It's a classic textbook example of how such a tag should look, with very clear markings. The tag was found in Karelia, so we assume the owner of this tag was transferred to the 6. SS-Gebirgs-Division "Nord".
