Nice and sharp half zinc Erkennungsmarke for an Estonian recruit in the Ersatz-Bataillon of the Estnische SS-Legion.

The Estonian Legion was formed in Autumn 1942, and extended to a Brigade in 1943. This tag was never issued because it is missing the company and tag number.

It is in very nice, solid condition, with the text clearly readable.

It has the classic font and style for these tags.
