German gasmask canister from Narva

A nice, honest German gas mask canister was found in Narva many years ago. It is not marked, but there is a big chance it comes from one of the SS units that were fighting there.
There is some rust on the inside and outside, but it has never been cleaned or treated. All parts are functional, and the small strap has been preserved.
Perfect display piece, coming from an iconic place, and could be treated further.
