Four original photos of the 21. Waffen-Grenadier-Division der SS "Skanderbeg" (alban. Nr. 1) in Mitrovica in Kosovo, in 1944.

They show Albanian fascists, as well as SS-Brigadeführer August Schmidhuber, who was the commander of the "Skanderbeg" division, and who was executed in Yugoslavia in 1947.

Notice also the SS flag, probably locally made.

Photos of the "Skanderbeg" division are beyond rare and extremely hard to find.
