Extremely rare battlefield-found Deckungszielgerät DZG43, which was used to shoot with a rifle while taking cover.
It was designed specifically for the Mauser K98 rifle. This particular example was found in the area of Smolensk, and was most probably used in trench warfare.
It is corroded, but complete and solid.
The parts don't move, but it is a super nice display piece and a very rare item to come across.
