Very nice and rare variant zinc Erkennungsmarke from a member of the 4./SS-Infanterie-Ersatz-Bataillon "Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler" from Russia.

This was the training and replacement battalion of the LSSAH, and the 4th company was a heavy machine gun company. We have not encountered such variants before (usually "SS-Verfügungstruppe" is stamped on the backside), but we believe it to be an original tag.
