Very nice zinc id tag (erkennungsmarke) from a member of SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Ausbildungs-und-Ersatz-Bataillon 10. It probably belonged to a German recruit who was then transferred to the 14. Galizische SS-Freiwilligen-Division. The tag was found near Brody, where the Ukrainian division suffered heavy losses in July 1944. The tag is in very good condition.
