Spectacular zinc id tag (erkennungsmarke) from a Dutch member of the 6./SS-Pz.Gren.Rgt. 10 "Westland". It was found in 2021 near Lissyanka-Shanderovka, where the "Wiking" division tried to break out from the Cherkasy pocket (Tscherkassy-Kessel) on 16/17 February 1944.

The tag was originally issued by the 4./SS-Inf.Ers.Btl. "Westland" in Klagenfurt. This 4th company was a heavy weapon training company. The tag looks very sharp and is in extremely nice condition considering it was ground-dug.

The buyer will be provided with the exact location where it was found, as well as the name of the Dutch volunteer who wore this tag. Very unique to find a named item from such a famous battlefield.
