Very nice and rare battle-damaged zinc tag (erkennungsmarke) of a member of SS-Pz.Gren.Rgt. 10 "Westland".
The tag was found near Lysjanka, on the route of the breakout of the Cherkassy pocket. It belonged to a German Rottenführer of the 6th company who is listed as MIA (either killed or captured) on 17 February 1944. No human remains have of course been found with the tag (otherwise it would not be listed for sale). The buyer will be provided with the name of the original owner.
Don't miss out on this very rare opportunity to own a real "Westland" tag from the famous Cherkassy breakout.
