Very nice and rare ammo box for the Panzerbüchse 38.
These boxes were attached to the guns. It is marked with a Waffenamt stamp, as well as COS and 1941.
The Panzerbüchse 38 was a German anti-tank rifle used during World War II. The rifle fired a 7.92x94mm cartridge and was primarily used for taking out lightly armored vehicles and fortifications. The ammo box could hold up to 10 rounds of ammunition, which were stored in two rows of five cartridges each. The box was designed to be easily transported and could be carried by soldiers or mounted on a vehicle.
Today, original Panzerbüchse 38 ammo boxes are highly sought after by collectors of World War II militaria.
