We are offering here a very interesting and unique hoard of tags, recently found in Kurland in Latvia.
All the Erkennungsmarken, sixteen in total, belonged to members of the Ukrainisches Schutzmannschaften-Arbeits-Bataillon 284 and the V./Lettische Freiwilligen-Polizei-Regiment Riga, both resorting under the Befehlshaber der Ordnungspolizei "Ostland" in Riga.
One tag belonged to an unknown Kradschützen unit, but we don't know which one.
The tags have been found together, and suffered from corrosion, but the markings are still clearly readable on all of them. We sell them as a hoard, as found, and priced accordingly because of the condition. Also, a set of empty tags coming together.
A very nice and interesting collection of tags to research further.
