Very nice zinc Erkennungsmarke from a member of the 3./Lettisches SS-Freiwilligen-Regiment 3. It was formed in March 1943, when the Latvian Legion was reorganized into the Lettische SS-Freiwilligen-Division.

In October 1943, Lettisches SS-Freiwilligen-Regiment 3 was renamed into SS-Freiwilligen-Grenadier-Regiment 34 (lett. Nr. 3). The tag was found near Pskov, where the regiment was deployed in 1943.

The tag itself has some corrosion, but is in very good condition with very clear markings.
