Extremely nice zinc Erkennungsmarke from a member of SS-Infanterie-Regiment 4 (mot.).

This regiment was formed in February 1941 from the 4. SS-Totenkopf-Standarte “Ostmark”, which had its base in Mauthausen. It was then shortly deployed with the 2. SS-Infanterie-Brigade in 1941 and subsequently with the 2. SS-Division “Das Reich”.

After suffering heavy losses, it was renamed to SS-Schützen-Regiment “Langemark” in 1942. The tag was found in Czech and is in very good condition.

It has the classic font for these tags.
