A rare item to come by: a unit-made tobacco box which was presented to soldiers from the SS-Gebirgs-Division "Nord" as a commemorative piece for Christmas 1943 in Karelia.
The cap was replaced and is not original.
These boxes can be seen in period pictures.
Great display piece.
