Very nice zinc Erkennungsmarke from a member of SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Ausbildungs-und-Ersatz-Bataillon 11, which was based in Graz in Austria, and provided men to the III.(germanisches) SS-Panzer-Korps. This tag most probably belonged to a Dutch volunteer who entered service on 1 November 1943 and was trained in the 3./SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Ausbildungs-und-Ersatz-Bataillon 11.

We don't know the name or exact location where it was found on the Narva front, but it most probably belonged to a member of the 4. SS-Freiwilligen-Panzer-Grenadier-Brigade "Nederland".

The condition is very good and the inscription very nice.

A very rare and original tag from a very famous battlefield.
