Wonderful and extremely rare zinc Erkennungsmarke for a member of the 14./Freiwilligen-Legion "Niederlande".

This was the Panzerjäger (PAK) company of the Dutch Legion. The Dutch Legion was formed in the Summer of 1941 and put into action near Novgorod and Leningrad. In the Summer of 1943, the Legion was disbanded and used to form the SS-Freiwilligen-Panzer-Grenadier-Brigade "Nederland".

The tag was found in Narva, but we do not know the precise location.

It is unnumbered, which is unusual, but the tag is unquestionably real.
