Another super nice and extremely rare zinc Erkennungsmarke, this one belonging to a Dutch volunteer in the 13./SS-Freiwilligen-Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment 48 "General Seyffardt". It is broken, but the condition is really good. We found the parts ourselves in the area where the regiment got destroyed on 26 July 1944.
It was found with several other tags, most probably in a place where a group of survivors got captured and everything was thrown away. The owner of this tag was originally with the 13./Freiwilligen-Legion "Niederlande".
We didn't treat the tag, since we want to leave that upon the buyer.
These tags are extremely hard to find and come from a very historical place.
