Very nice and very rare Erkennungsmarke from a member of the SS-Wehrgeologen-Ersatz-Kompanie, the training unit for several SS-Wehrgeologen companies on the Eastern and later also Western front.

The SS-Wehrgeologen-Ersatz-Kompanie was stationed in Hamburg, where this tag was found nearby together with others.

The tag is corroded, but the text and number are still readable.

A very rare tag to encounter from a very interesting unit.
