Very nice and solid single decal SS M42 helmet with impressive battle-damage.
The helmet was recently found in Latgalia, in the eastern part of Latvia, and most probably belonged to a Latvian volunteer of the 19. Waffen-Grenadier-Division der SS (lett. Nr. 2), which was fighting in the area in the Summer of 1944.
Beautiful display piece.
