Very nice ground-dug aluminum SS marked mess tin cover, which was found in Karelia on positions of the 6. SS-Gebirgs-Division "Nord".
It has the markings RZM 497/38 SS. Most of its original pre-war black paint has been preserved. The condition is very good.
A very rare piece to encounter.
