Very nice and rare steel battalion pennant, which belonged to the I./Artillerie-Regiment 8 of the 8. Jäger-Division. Both the divisional symbol as the "I" from I. Abteilung is still visible, as well as the red colors denoting the artillery branch.
It was found near Staraya Russa, where the 8. Jäger-Division was fighting in 1943 and 1944.
A pouch with a full set of flags was found. Please note that only one is offered, the ID tag is for display purposes only.
A very unique item to find. The usage sample can be seen in a photo.
